Terms and Conditions for Recipient of Waiheke writers Residency 


The writer has the full use of the one bedroom house.

The house is close to a bus stop, restaurant, dairy and walking distance to the supermarket. The writer must provide their own transport.

Visitors are welcome by day, however due to the retreat nature of the residency, overnight guests are not encouraged. 

The writer agrees to keep the house secure at all times and maintain a level of cleanliness, no smoking is permitted inside.

Residents are responsible for their own cooking and laundry. 

 Arrangements for the payment of the stipend will be made on arrival at the house.

All keys must be returned before departure by 10 am.

The writer will be liable for any damages to the property during their stay.

The writer agrees to any publicity regarding being awarded the residency, including a reading at the Waiheke Library.
 
The judges decision is final and not negotiable.

The writer will be required to acknowledge the Waiheke Writers Residency in any work published,
produced or created as a result of the residency.
